Mira Diels (1967) and Dick Hoogenboom (1958), are a married couple from Schoorl, North-Holland, The Netherlands. Dick started photography in 1979 and Mira in 1987. For Dick, birds are the main subjects, but he is also fascinated by mammals, insects and other macro topics. Mira's specialties are abstract and macro, but she also focuses on landscape, mammals and insects. Together we travel, mostly through Northern Europe, with Iceland as our particular favourite. Our images have appeared in several magazines, books, calendars and travel guides. Our work is currently sold through the photo agency Nature in Stock (www.natureinstock.com).  We are both members of the Dutch Nature Photographers Guild (see www.natuurfotografengilde.nl ), the oldest nature photo society in The Netherlands, as well as of the united nature photographers (NFO) Heerhugowaard (www.nfo-hhw.nl ).I would also like to point out that our work is also for sale, our photos are for sale in any size, mounted, with or without frame, on canvas, plastic or whatever.
